On Thursday, Julia, one of Mary's classmates picked Mary to be the sun in the birthday walk. The birthday walk is a tradition at Mary's school where, if its your birthday you get to be the earth and walk around the sun as many years as you are old. Julia is a special needs child and has really taken a shine to Mary. They share a cubby at school, and Mary is always coming home and informing me of Julia's latest accomplishment. :)
